I do think something like the article mentioned where you use a card or number sort of like collateral for using the bathroom means that those with less can also spend less to use something they need more than others may need due to being housed
Something I've been thinking a lot about regarding 1 is that calling people out is liable to get you in a fight or shot in this country. There's less and less people willing to say, "back of the line bub" when people are being antisocial out of fear of violence
It strikes me personally that these systems are
1. In lieu of the kind of human interaction that would normally keep us behaving
2. Downstream of many, many things we refuse to tackle at a systemic level like poverty, trust in systems, and isolation

Cycling has also allowed me to notice the scent of springtime flowers and become intimately familiar with every crack in the road and house along it
Yeah there's a whole process for right of way and whatnot, but generally trains aren't as noisy as one might imagine. Also building housing knowing its near a train does wonders to alleviate that problem. Many things to consider for sure, I am just glad they're finally taking some steps!

The City of #ABQ just released their proposed budget and it includes a 14% budget cut for transit and axing 52 positions at ABQ Ride.
Doing this in the midst of an energy crisis is unbelievably short-sighted and terrible. We need to BOLSTER transit, not defund it! Speak up for Transit Burque!!
Metro to metro travel should be fast, easy, and ecologically sustainable. That last part something that airlines cannot or will not be able to accomplish.
