Isn’t that what an editor fundamentally does?
The worst type of review request is being called in on 2nd or 3rd round.
What is the point? There are normally two or three reviewers already and the authors have responded.
Surely the editor can just take a position, especially with a shallow reveiwer pool. What am I missing here?

I’ve been working with population scale networks for a while now and there are now versions in 🇳🇱🇸🇪🇩🇰
But I want one in 🏴 so we can validate Ellis James Cymru Connects.
FWIW the average degrees of separation in the NL is about 4.5 so it’s not surprising.

The wording of this title is an interesting choice:
“The Mortality Risk of Raising Grandchildren in the United States”

Not raw, but I’m fine with a human in the loop. An AI assisted review.
Like with anything, the fact that you used AI doesn’t negate your end responsibility for the output
The same as if you upload your own paper to ChatGpt and ask if to provide a critical peer review.
In all honesty, I don't mind reviewers using an LLM to help with the review (assuming that the paper itself isn't then transferred).
I think editoris are oftern too passive with desk rejects
....I'm already getting some
When the funding rate is too low, increase it.

I have been thinking about exactly this. I think, as Michel said, the best solution would be to have a fairly lightweight code orientated model run on the internal system but it would be compute intensive.
I think the impact would be huge though.
