A fresh new year can feel overwhelming for some, because of this, some people choose to avoid making big promises and live life each day as it comes. Is there anything you would like to achieve with OCD recovery by the end of this year? We wish you all the best for 2026, Team OCD-UK đ€

The stuff of nightmares, truly. Itâs funny though, in the past this would have been OCD hell for me. But right now, while I am *seriously* grossed out, Iâm more just incredibly offended by the sheer disregard for a publicly owned book (or any book lol)
Thereâs a bogey in my library book. Iâm so upset
Anyone else thinking of going as Claudia Winkleman for Halloween?

I just finished the marvellous Beastopia, the first in a new series by @chrissiesains.bsky.social. I think itâs the first book Iâve read with type 1 diabetes rep. Can anyone recommend any other books with good disability /chronic illness representation? #KidsBooksFriday #UKKidLit #KidLit #KidLitUK
A book titled "Outdoor Pigs: How to Make them Pay."
those damned outdoor pigs can't keep getting away with this

I just put a teabag in the dishwasher tablet drawer, anyway, howâs your day going?
Some of you didnât save your best stickers for a special occasion that never came, and it shows
Do you ever feel like you are just a series of Taylor Swift lyrics in a trench coat

Just saw a headline that read âwhat not drinking enough water really does to your bodyâ and honestly I got a jump scare
âListen to your bodyâ
Not a good idea because my body canât tell the difference between being chased by a bear and an incoming Teams call
Agreed
When someone says theyâll just âpop byâ your house at âsome point todayâ so you enter a liminal social waiting room where you canât do anything else until theyâve come and gone
The reality of claiming PIP: a đ§”
1) To claim PIP you have to describe in excruciating detail all the ways you cannot function. This means that you are forced to think in very detailed terms exactly how disabled you are, which often has a devastating effect on the mental health of the applicant 1/?
Two tweets, 9 years apart...
𧔠The UK government has announced they will make over ÂŁ5bn in cuts to disabled peopleâs social security.
This is the biggest cut on record. And weâre appalled.
People at food banks have told us that theyâre terrified about how they might survive.
âTell me why I donât like Mondaysâ
Because theyâre a soft reset when Iâve only just managed to get the hang of the previous week and the cyclical and unstoppable march of weekdays is itâs own a kind of prison
Oh
Yes!!
"You're so quiet"
Thanks every time I tried to speak someone spoke on top of me
No disrespect to my dog. Iâve always been a Small Dog sleeper - used to scooping him up to my chest for a nestling buddy. But thereâs a whole genre of dog sleep Iâve been missing out on. Damm
I just had THE nap. My neighbourâs dog is here and sheâs bigger than my dog and she put her weight across my legs and oh my GOD how will I ever sleep without that reassuring pressure grounding me to this Earth again
God bless the âit looks like you forgot to attach an attachmentâ pop up
This is so cool
It really is
