We heard a Nightingale in full song. It’s our namesake bird, and after a 2–3 year absence it has only just begun to return to the farm.
Hearing it again feels like a real milestone in our efforts to bring Nightingales back and restore biodiversity at Gibbet Oak Farm.
Spring has arrived in the orchard 🌸
The blossoms are bursting into life, with our pear, Falstaff, Redlove, and Bramley trees all putting on a beautiful show. It’s a magical time of year.
As everything comes into bloom, we’ve also been busy with some new ciders.
We’re super chuffed for our mates and so proud to be their house cider!

Ubhal Cider was a proper celebration of cider, and we were pouring alongside an incredible lineup from across the UK organised by Aeble Cider at Custom Lane in Edinburgh.
