Weird right?
Ask ChatGPT how a US president might attempt to destabilise the country without anyone realising their intention and you get this response:
His mum has been away visiting her mum for three days now. This is how he spends most of his day!
I see your King George V and I raise you this Queen Victoria beauty in Neyland.
You're a good egg Reece and everyone knows it. You and a few other notables made Twitter just about bearable in the last few weeks before I abandoned ship.
A grey acorn? Like a mondegreen or eggcorn perhaps?

Oh America!
Despite European leaders’ reluctance to fully acknowledge the damage, the reality is that trust takes time to rebuild. The question is: How much more disruption is yet to come? #Geopolitics #US #Europe #GlobalRelations
The US-Europe relationship, in particular, has taken a major hit—one that will take years to repair, no matter how much leaders downplay it. The last 70 years of diplomacy have been crashed and burned, and the long-term consequences are just beginning to unfold.
How does a country of 333 million people end up placing its future in the hands of one individual whose personal agenda is so far removed from the collective, long-maintained geopolitical stability? Decades of careful diplomacy—especially between the US, Russia, and Europe—have been upended.
As some have pointed out in their replies, decimalisation didn't happen until 1971, therefore this price list is most likely after that date. I think that actually may mean that inflation has been harsher? I do recall buying my first "legal" pint in 1978 for 24p (penny extra for the lounge!)
A typical price list from the bar of a pub in 1970. Compared to a contemporary version. According to the BofE inflation calculator, adjusted for inflation, a pint of lager should now cost around £1.35. Is it any wonder that pubs are closing at an alarming rate? No one can afford to buy a round.
In 2006 Mike Judge released a film "Idiocracy" a satirical take on the decline of intelligent political discourse, amongst other extrapolations for the future of humanity. Twenty years hence, it turns out it was a prescient documentary.
Trump is doing enormous reputational damage to the USA on the world stage. And no one is holding him to account it would seem?

He also sang “Have a Cigar” on Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here. Hats off to him....
He was a last minute addition to the bill at Knebworth in 1978 when I went to see Genesis. Was not disappointed.

Up the port!
I once pulled up at the traffic lights at the Parson Street gyratory alongside Billy the electrician from DIY SOS. We exchanged a quick glance and then the lights changed, we drove away, and I never saw him again.
This was 8 years ago today. I walked away from this with a few scratches and a bruised ego. Now I only have 6 lives left. Apparently? That's the Wye Valley road. There is a sheer cliff face on the other side of the small wall with a 500m drop.
Me too!
