Melvin Burgess has done this (the novel is called Sikes) and he went for shorter chapters. I liked the format a lot. I donโt think longer would work for me, because itโs on a screen. I know you can share to a Kindle, but I never do.

Chris pulled Neilโs big hat down over his eyes.
โYouโre mad!โ Chris shouted. โToo unstable. Kicking in chairs and knocking down tables.โ He sighed. โIf you keep on like this weโll never find out who took Roland Orzabal from his stable.โ
โWait.โ Neilโs voice was muffled. โRoland Orzabal is a horse?โ
Autumn term. No winter term! Seasonal prejudice.
Fingers crossed (would be the last book I need to complete my collection) but if my name doesnโt come out the hat Iโll be getting the paperback.

The elderly skeleton from the 1980s Scotch VHS adverts
Mostly they just liked the cardboard cut out of this guy
I took my kids (10 and 7) to an 80s exhibition last weekend. They'd never seen a VHS tape before, but they knew what a cassette tape was and were able to figure it out. They were slightly surprised it was for watching something, not listening to something.
I wasnโt allowed to order an anchovy pizza in Amsterdam until the disbelieving waiter was completely satisfied that I was aware than an anchovy was a small, salty fish. On the other hand, once he was completely sure I knew what I was asking for he didnโt skimp on the small salty fish.

David Peace doing you a solid with the Red-Riding quartet
Me too. I love any deluxe edition that comes with an unnecessary play mat. So many flavours of hypocrisy. All delicious.
Maybe Iโm biased because of how much that era meant to me (I definitely am biased) but it felt like it was the last time he went out to play with a band, rather than a backing band.
I really should get that. I listen to Outside all the time, but I havenโt listened to Earthling or the rest of that era for a a very long time. My favourite Bowie era by miles.
Argh it is so creepy! I can feel my skin crawling just thinking about it. Havenโt seen it since whenever it came out but the image of [redacted] with her head at an angle is burned into my brain.
Fallen down an Earthling rabbit hole. Not planning on climbing out.

A favorite Bowie/Gabrels co-write. Enjoy.
Iโd forgotten how good this was. And those last two minutes โฆ is that Gail Ann Dorsey on backing vocals slugging it out with you and Mike Garson?
My favourite expression of this is deliberately pocket-sized games getting bigger and bigger with every subsequent edition. You were perfect as you were, Sushi Go!
News item: Chuckle Brother โincredibly proud as he prepares for epic charity quest.
The Telegraphโs Allister Heath writes: โThe inevitable failure of โincredibly proudโ Chuckle Brotherโs epic charity quest will drag the entire West down with it.โ
I had teeth out when I was that age, or a bit older. I don't remember anything about getting my teeth out, but I do remember my dad taking me to the bookshop and letting me choose a book. I chose a Star Trek: TNG book, which I later swapped for a Star Trek: TOS book (which I still have). Books heal.
This year to save me from tears Iโll stay on till Cardiff Central
