I get what you’re saying but not ever switch owner bought a 3rd party dock so if 50K-75K did brick. That percentage of switches bricked of 3rd party docks is probably significant. I do know later in the year they figured out the tech because I bought a 3rd party dock in 2020 after research

Nyko ended up offering repairs to those affected by their docks and it was thousands according to them. The reddit back then was a decently filled with people saying their switch got bricked. This was early in the life the Switch 1 so I’m not surprised if eventually the 3rd party tech caught up

Just listening to Nintendo Shack now! You should know it wasn’t just 1 person it was an actual issue that was happening and they know why the original switch 1 third party docks were bricking switches. There were actual warnings from Nintendo about it

Im still so scared to use 3rd party docks from the switch 1 3rd party dock debacle. Those Switch 1’s bricking has given me PTSD (post dramatic switch disorder)

Replaying Luigi’s Mansion 2 on the Nintendo Switch. I remember enjoying this game originally on the 3DS but man I feel like this game sucks lmao
