getting set for the first outing for Oh Europa this year. We're heading to Gloucester on Saturday for a Valentines love song special. 7 whole years since we first set off in the van on this adventure.
This morning two theatre companies (Freedom Studios and Coney) have announced their permanent closure. Both 'left' the National Portfolio in 2023 and have found the climate impossible since. Their statements are heartbreakingly similar. Without massive funding reform many more will follow in 2025.
Reminding ourselves that as artists we're positioned as well as anyone to do something to disrupt narratives and plant seeds towards alternative ways of being in the world. The fact that this happens to be what we're working on today means something actionhero.org.uk/Rebel-Resist...
