C-205/25 has not been translated into English nor Gaelic yet, surely an attempt at shielding the Irish DPC from the Art. 15 requests coming their way
self-inflicted Italian Torpedo
think about the environment before printing this gun 🥬
Read it, it's a good opinion! Nothing odd, the outcome you'd expect I assume. AG Norkus' third one in data protection if I'm not mistaken.
* to the extent that I can tell with basic French and machine translations, that is.
I don't think there's much more to it.* It's just that I have jerry-rigged this database with a bunch of case-law (converted in MarkDown so I can look things up across the whole corpus with one query/regex) and the only two data protection judgments I'm missing are that and KISA.
today marks the 1490th time I check if they translated C-350/21 (Spetsializirana prokuratura (Retention of traffic and location data)), but it is *still* only available in French and Bulgarian
Excellent thread, 10/10
We'll never know
Actually we'll know on the 16th
Is the internet even real
are DPAs acting in the context of a complaint procedure also data controllers, and can they be thus subject to access requests? If so, does EU law/Art. 23 GDPR prevent national law excluding, in a blanket manner, rights of access or inspection vis-à-vis the DPAs' stuff?

This is either a grant proposal or a GiKii talk, maybe both
What about a reverse regulatory sandbox though. Take away intermediary liability protections for like three random providers just for kicks and see what happens. Like a regulatory killing field. That’d be fun!
I mean to be fair it’s the American left, so basically the alt-right here
Prurient dropped a new EP this week (Electronic City) so you also have a soundtrack for these if you want
Two new data protection judgments today:

+1 it’s a very nice one
The lato sensu proportionality assessment is also well structured and the part on the necessity test is also interesting.
tl;dr fish is a proportionate interference with the right to data protection
