I just finished reading @danhanly.com ‘s unpublished book The Revered and the Reviled and omg it’s so good. Agents, you need to pay attention to this one when it comes your way! The setup and mirroring in it is skilful and the ending is so bittersweet 😭

Apparently, this is the first time that many Belfast mums are hearing of the music genre K-pop, and they were annoyed they didn't play Golden. They thought K-Pop was shorthand for "K-Pop Demon Hunters" and when tribute acts of Blackpink and Twice came out they were like "What the hell is this?!"
Occasionally I get a whiff of an ultra niche drama that I'm not involved in and I hunt that shit down like a bloodhound. The latest one is this K-Pop Tribute Concert in Belfast...
I love Asian game development studios they bring such a unique take to the market. But... Whenever they make a western appearing protagonist they give them the woooorst names. FF16 main character: Clive. Now Crimson Desert main character: Kliff. Why are they 58 year old plumbers?

The Will of the Many was so good that I listened to the entirety of The Strength of the Few in 3 days, which is an Audiobook record for me! Not as good as the first, but sets up the yet-to-be-released finale perfectly.

They do all this and they can also make you laugh, cry, whoop with glee, educate you and even trigger profound philosophical wonderings makes them timeless.

6. Books don’t need to be assembled before being given.
Having a convenience and losing it is not the same as never having the convenience to begin with. I do not have a tesla with FSD, and I also never feel unsafe, with stress and uncertainty, because I'm doing something that I've been trained to do over nearly two decades of driving.
I think the fundamental gap here is that non-creative people think that creative people make things for the end product, when in fact it’s the act of creation and not the end point that makes it worthwhile.
There were so many people who continued to cram into the panel rooms like sardines knowing they were ill. I sometimes hate the 'do it anyway' motivation people have when they're ill. Even in school and work it's seen as a universally bad thing to want to not spread diseases around - I'm like what?!
You were absolutely a winner at World Fantasycon. I noticed you were masked up every day and then afterwards there was a mad flu that went around all the con attendees, and I was like @katiebruce.bsky.social had the right idea! 😂

The ending was great, but I still felt like the protagonist was just a chaperone without a clear drive of her own. It is a pretty explosive end though, and worth persevering
I submitted an atmospheric tale of grief and hope to this anthology the day before yesterday, wish me luck!!
