Brought the lemon tree in due to a cold snap. Found some old WSJ Finance section from October 2025 to catch its drip.

Some gems in here.

Mortgage rates drop, gold up, EV news.

Be peaceful, not harmless

If this is true, this represents a serious problem.

One, it means military leaders don’t trust their boss to exercise proper operational security.

Two, it means military leaders are excluding the elected President from relevant information to which he is entitled.

This way madness lies.

I'm a broken record on this but the radicalisation and brain rot of Gen X/boomers is a massively under-appreciated problem

Most of these guys getting drafted won’t make enough to be financially free when their 3-6 years of pro play are up - practice squad is about $120k/yr. They’re going to need those degrees + the NIL money to compound.

If I was proj to go round 6+, I reckon I’d stick around depending on the school

Grocery store strawberries to your own strawberry patch.

1. Slice a strawberry very thin on the skin
2. Dry it out for a few days
3. Scrape off the seeds
4. Plant
5. Grow

Super easy. Great when your house eats a ton of berries.

Had a weird error in a chat where Claude sent me back to Sonnet 4 from 4.6. And Sonnet 4 DOES NOT know about 4.6.

Is it about to leak my personal info to my contacts? Maybe!

Yes. Probably around 2012.

His vision was machine learning for small business to help with reporting and predictions. Which would then evolve into AI with marketing planning and recommendations.

He was a luxury home builder.

My first business partner, an elder Gen X, was legit disappointed in me for not making that list.

This was years ago, but he had tasked me with… checks notes… creating AI.

~90% of distributions are categorized as ROC, so a bit better than holding JEPQ in your taxable accounts for people that want to use CC ETFs.

This type of strategy grew popular w/ SPYI & QQQI doing something similar.

So JPM just launched ROCY & ROCQ at half the expense ratio.

So many ETF flavors

$GS entered the CC derivatives ETF game with $GPIQ and their strategy so far is paying off in total return without NAV erosion.

Way less AUM than JPM’s JEPI and JEPQ that use ELNs, capping their ability to capture growth.

It’s half the mgmt fee of NEOS QQQI, but distributes 10% vs 15%.

Preemptive pardon would be wise. Might cost $2M, but can you put a price tag on peace of mind from escaping a prison sentence? Plus it’s OPM. The shareholders shouldn’t be punished for founders being attacked by the radical left prosecutors, aka Joe Biden puppets.

I haven’t dabbled with Opus for code. Should I switch to Opus for Cloudflare workers and simple JavaScript, CSS, and HTML?
