Turns out was mentioned to future family, the court dealt with “men about town” Tom & his brothers joked about their experiences with it
The driving ban of my grandad & namesake Tom, discovered accidentally via internet search, he was 23 it was 1939, this wasn’t mentioned to his future family. The penalty equates to about the same as someone would get today, posted without judgement or excuse.

Over the years have heard horrible tales of traffic collisions particularly from our neighbours up the coast between Cullercoats and Whitley Bay. Can't guarantee that this is over but based on last year we are off to a great start.
