Drawing of a book with a desk printer on the cover with the title "The printer that simply worked and other fairy tales"

I am absolutely not an audiobook person--and I've already read all the books in print--but I am so thoroughly enjoying the Dungeon Crawler Carl audiobook that I might just listen to the whole series.
A round, fried hors d'oeuvre sits on a plate with a shocked expression. It is surrounded by others like it, except for an empty spot next to it.
βGUYS! WAKE UP! SOME DUDE JUST ATE CARL!β
We closed Sweeney Todd last night, and I took a 3-hour nap in the middle of the afternoon today. Back to regular life tomorrow, I guess.
From the way my leg is hurting today, methinks I may have danced too hard at last night's cast party.
I'm back on the Graymalkin Lane Podcast for an unfortunately topical conversation about Marvel villain Hate-Monger.

Sorry, I thought this was a picture of me as a doctor.
Hopefully soon we'll have West Side Story gangs roaming the elementary school playground, snapping at each other and having dance battles.
The 4th grade is apparently in trouble for "forming gangs." 9.1 denies his part in any gang activity.
Me: You should be in a gang, and you know what to do.
9.1: Start snapping.
Me: Correct. And then a little of this--(I get up from the dinner table and execute all the Jerome Robbins choreo I know.)
How exciting to see this! Congrats!
I actually thought about that on my way home. But the kids are getting PB&J, and the grownups are eating beef (a.k.a. seitan) with broccoli.
I just got home from my third of three performances this weekend and now I have to not just collapse on the couch and instead make dinner for four people.
Thank you! I am wearing an ankle brace to perform specifically as to NOT break a leg, but the sentiment is appreciated. π
It's opening night! I took off from work and slept until 10:00. It was extremely necessary. Two weekends of performances start in a few hours. #theatrelife
Feeling this today.
All of Us Should Be Able To Agree With Thisβ¦..
Went to my first PT session for my ankle today, came home, currently stuffing tofu into my face before a 5-hour rehearsal. #theatrelife
I just pre-ordered GALAXY!
Was at rehearsal until 11:00 last night, up at 5:00 this morning for work. Currently questioning my life choices.
I got to hang out with a friend I haven't seen in 26 years today, so that was really cool.
Getting my Prince of Egypt on. #Passover
I accidentally dumped about half a container of pepper into the charoset. π«ͺ
Happy #Passover.

Lemon almond macaroons and chocolate covered macaroons. #Passover #baking
A casserole dish with tzimmes including carrots, potatoes, prunes, and sweet potatoes that have fallen apart.
I made a vegan dinner last night in anticipation of being able to eat it tonight in the five minutes I'll have before I have to rush out to rehearsal...and just realized it has seitan in it, which is the literal definition of what I can't eat for Passover. So...
#Passover cooking day:
Chocolate covered macaroons
Lemon and almond macaroons
Tzimmes (I overcooked it...whoops)
Gefilte Fish (Baked in the oven for the first time ever. I'm so curious as to how this will go.)
Desiderata: Original Text This is the original text from the book where Desiderata was first published. Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy. by Max Ehrmann Β©1927
FUCK SCOTUS. I want to hug every single LBGTQ+ person out there. I see you. I will always be your ally, and I will always speak up for you. You do YOU. Don't ever let anyone tell you that you need to deny the you that you are. I will always offer you a safe space π«πππ³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ
