I was going to say the same thing about farming. I'm also a rural voter. Now that data centers are springing up everywhere, though, I could see that being a thing. I don't know a soul in my area who likes them regardless of political party.

Write something *purposefully* terrible. Whether it's a sentence or a stanza or a paragraph or a few pages. Sometimes there's a little gem in there. Sometimes it's just the confidence that you can write something better than that.

-make sure you're fed and watered, have touched grass. pet a cat.
-take frequent breaks. be gentle with yourself.
-imagine arguing with someone who disagrees with you and write down what you'd say.

The actual reality of what’s going on with NASA is a real trip when juxtaposed with what a hit the NASA-saturated “Project Hail Mary” film seems to be.
I wonder how many people who enjoyed the film are aware of just how much this admin has shanked all the cool real-world research it featured.
It's important to make room for fun. If you're lucky, you have coworkers or you have a partner or family who is willing to step outside of the stress with you, or step into the stress with you, to create stories/jokes/laughter out of the chaos.
Laughter can be medicine. Laughter can build strength.
