Bars were able to stay open an hour later from February 7-10 2008. The reason: Fredericton was hosting the East Coast Music Awards.
Cabinet finally repealed it in March, 18 years later.

Last year's literacy results from New Brunswick schools are out and they're not great. Improvements at the Gr6 level but roughly half of Gr4 students did not meet grade level.
