Possibly nothing, but wouldn't be surprised at all if they were working on a Love-like extension in lieu of the option.

Love that set. Hangs behind my desk in my shop. Some of the best pure Packers artwork there is imo.

True. Definitely a viable pathway. I can get with that!

From March 30-

Right after the initial free agency rush I believe. Fairly certain both Bukowski and Herman have talked about it.

I just keep going back to Spoon's reporting that Reed is on the list of guys they want to extend. With more interior runs in the scheme now, I don't wonder if the whole big, blocking WR thing is of less importance now.

You're not wrong, and they might! But, I would have preferred a sure thing to close one of those holes like a Harrison Phillips as Andy Herman offered as an alternative instead.

Should add, a 5th and a 7th is a really good return. Just wish it was a rotational NT or depth OL instead.

Don't mind moving off Wicks at all as it was feeling like a necessity to move someone, but overall can't say I love this deal.

Wish it was for a player in return not picks.

Still though, good for Wicks. He gets his paycheck and potentially more of a role.

I've never thought about it, but I agree 1000%! Every one of these alternative monopolies have always felt like something is missing.

Playoffs this year:
24/46
323 Yards
4 TD
0 INT
103 QB Rating
80.6 QBR

Hell of a big time choke performance.

Ultimately, this is just a re-confirmation that Fanatics is taking the license from Panini for NFL cards effective this month.

Overall, the switch appears in most ways to be a wash from an industry perspective.

I think Morgan with the "role". Constantly being asked to be platoon RG, then hop to RT, then back to the platoon- basically asked to do everything except what he's naturally good at.

Yea, everything was just a mess with that relationship last year.

And to add: maybe Reed.

There was that agent meeting after the draft last year. Maybe Reed is pining to be more than just the slot guy.

Wilson, Wicks, Doubs, J Morgan, Jenkins, all are possibilities in my mind.
Maybe even Musgrave from a "role" standpoint.

Golden seems really obvious, but idk why, I would just be surprised given he was a rookie.

Do you know if the whole interview is going up anywhere?

Also could help explain the grades on MLF and Steno from the players.

Let the speculating begin!

Lombardi fought for equal housing and dining opportunities for his black players, openly drafted players across racial barriers, reamed out players for using LGBTQ language, and was fiercely loyal to his wife.

He was also a democrat.

He would have despised this with every fiber of his being.

Agree with what? I don't want it changed. I don't think it should be changed. I'll be pissed if they do.

I'm also not burning anything down (and along with it leaving the fandom and abandoning the business I built) if it happens, for something I don't think anyone actually wants to do anyway.

3 weeks ago 1 0 0 0

Right. I don't want it to change at all, but I think it also would be Lambeau Field at Menards stadium or something like that.

Seems a tad extreme. Policy brought it up first saying it's a possibility of the current business reality of the Packers not having the pool of resources that billionaires and private equity have. Also said it's a last resort.

....why? What happened?

Remember kids, just because they're famous doesn't mean they're smart.

Yea really not sure of the arguement.

That the Pack, with the healthy return of 4 of their 8 or 9 best players is due to regress because....they lost Doubs and 2 other replacement level starters?

And the team on track for the 2 seed prior to those injuries now misses the playoffs with them back?

I think getting back Micah, Kraft, Tom, Wyatt, and full seasons from Watson and Reed are more important than the departures of the Walkers and the shell of Gary. Seems like an ok reason for cope.

1 month ago 1 1 0 0

Exactly. All of these departures were already planned for and the packers aren't aiming to replace the starting level performance in the draft.

If anything, it's grabbing a Colby Wooden replacement lol
