"Passing Through" is about people who begin to mysteriously descend from the sky in parachutes, and the brief encounter a team of researchers has with one of them.

They crushed a planet down into a Sprite can, rattling it around with a clink-clank rhythm while screaming "We're open for submissions!" into the cool night breeze.
