It was the most unexpected and huge honor to be considered and brought into the team so seamlessly and with such care. I’m sure this is not the last folks will hear from team Delgado/Walton!

A screenshot of an article from The City titled "Nurses' Union, Mount Sinai and Montefiore Reach Tentative Agreement to End Strike." An excerpt is highlighted: "Montefiore, Mount Sinai and NewYork-Presbyterian have jointly spent approximately $100 million to pay temporary nurses for the duration of the strike, the Greater New York Hospital Association, a trade group, has said. Meanwhile, striking nurses scrambled to make ends meet, with some collecting unemployment checks and applying for COBRA."
Glad Montefiore and Mount Sinai nurses are nearing fair contracts and hope Presbyterian is next.
But this strike dragged on because the gov let hospitals hire scabs to please her donors. Hospital CEOs spent $100M doing it while refusing fair pay for @nynurses.bsky.social.
The math ain’t mathing.

Guess “I cursed the Bills by extorting money from the Seneca Nation and building their new stadium on stolen land” wouldn’t fit on the cake. #BenitoBowl
You don’t get to call yourself pro-labor while kneecapping nurses fighting for fair pay and safe staffing. That’s not solidarity. That’s donor service.
NYers deserve leaders who choose the people, every time. That’s why I’m running for Lt. Governor.
I stand with working people. Period.
Especially the @nynurses.bsky.social on strike right now.
I’m a nurse. I’ve seen what happens when hospitals put profits over patients, and when politicians like Kathy Hochul help them get away with it.
@indiab.bsky.social and I will always stand with the people, whether it’s to fight Trump or hospital CEOs trying to break this strike with the governor’s help.
Don’t call for party unity, unless you mean unifying to protect our nurses and taxing the rich! #TaxtheRich
Inside the New York State Democratic Party convention, they talked about who we’re fighting against.
Outside, in the cold, we were clear about who we’re fighting for: striking @nynurses.bsky.social and the people who are tired of corporate greed all across New York.
What a week!
Buffalo - For nearly a week, immigration agents have targeted a block on the city’s West Side, seeking to detain an Iranian man living there.
His neighbors aren’t having it. Dozens have organized themselves into rotating shifts to do "ICE watch" @indiab.bsky.social
Oh hey! I guess I am here 🫡
