Pride in Place Warndon - Appeal for Chair and Board Members
Pride in Place Warndon - Appeal for Chair and Board Members A search has begun for people who care deeply about their community and want to help shape the future of Warndon over the next decade. Warndon has been selected as part of the Government’s Pride in Place programme, giving the local community the power to decide how £20 million will be invested in the area over the next 10 years. A new Neighbourhood Board, made up of local residents, will lead this work and decide how the funding is spent. The Board will have at least eight members, all of whom must live or work in Warndon. We are now looking for people to apply for: 🔹 Chair of the Board 🔹 Neighbourhood Board Members You don’t need previous experience in a role like this. Training and support will be available – what matters most is a willingness to engage in positive conversations across Warndon and a commitment to making a difference. 📆 Applications are now open and close at midday on Friday 10 April. 👉 If you care about Warndon and want to help shape its future, we’d love to hear from you. Find out more and get involved here 👉https://www.worcester.gov.uk/pride-in-place-warndon

It takes 30 seconds to drop a used vape at a recycling point.
When vapes get crushed in general waste or mixed recycling, the batteries can spark. That spark becomes a fire.

From 1 May 2026, landlords will no longer be able to evict tenants using Section 21 “no-fault” notices.
