Oh yeah, if those kinds of games make you motion sick I think Outer Wilds sometimes doubly so with all the space flying, weird gravity, etc. Sometimes it's a lot even when you're not prone to motion sickness!
Also now I need to look up 3 in Three!
Oh yes - that game so good. I have a hundred or so hours into it and a notebook full of hunches and puzzles. Getting the itch to play it some more lately and go after a couple of the trickier ones.
The Secret Life of Games podcast just interviewed the creator and it's brought the crave back
Exactly what I came to the replies for.
Obra Dinn is very up there. Outer Wilds is top of my list. I've taken to watching people play it for the first time just to experience it again vicariously.

The old Colbert logo had me thinking you were in some Castlevania FMV game I never had heard of.
Now I wish that existed.

lol same
I had plans Bryan!

I remember the 3D prints people did of theirs after you made this.
I mean, all the Quakeholio/Shugashack/Shacknews folks still hang out (though we moved to Discord after the new owner decided that there'd be no more political talk on his Shacknews a year or so ago)
That keyboard looks like a ransom letter and I love it
The big question: can one use Slurp Juice on a Nobel Prize?
Finally, someone asking the real questions here
Here comes the son.
100% read it as "glorious batard"
It really, really is a big part of the job isn't it? Treating "I don't get it" as a useful signal that perhaps something needs to be discussed and not a personal or professional failing (for either party).
Which of course led to me asking a lotttt of "dumb" or seemingly "out of touch" questions
man, I read this as "ambien anger"
