I've changed my mind. Hit up the meat section and buy me about 20 beef roasts that were like $1.99 a pound. I wanna fill my freezer with that and a bunch of that 99 cent 80/20 ground beef.

First reported by Beth LeBlanc of @detroitnews.com,
U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens, who is running for U.S. Senate, was loudly and prolongedly booed at the Michigan Democratic Party convention.
The polling is basically the same everywhere. For example per the latest IMEUPP / DFP poll found 67% of Michigan Democrats and 60% of Michigan Independents support the resolution to block bombs, 65% of Michigan Democrats and 59% of Michigan Independents support the resolution to block bulldozers.
If you think it's limited to "the left" then you're not reading the polls sorry.
A lot of people are still in the denial about how much the median Democratic voter, the median Democratic volunteer, and the median Democratic activist has shifted on a variety of issues. Well here's the handpicked candidate of Chuck Schumer being booed, about Gaza, at the Dem convention.
A new NBC News Decision Desk poll shows that 75% of all Democrats sympathize more with Palestinians than with Israelis.
It also shows that 74% of all of Gen Z, total, sympathizes more with Palestinians than with the Israelis.

And so I will circle around to my constant point: the instinct for a comforting aristocracy is endemic in the human populace, and the job of democracy is to ruthlessly destroy it whenever it appears. Not build a political, legal and moral (prosperity gospel) framework which fucking encourages it.

Why yes, we could go to that fancy brunch place on LaBrea, but let me pitch you an alt …
They're so good. And even though I'm pretty sure they were more labor intensive than an actual cake, it didn't feel like it.
Chalk on stone pavers reading "NO AI" along with other markings.
From the mouths of children to the chalk of children.
"NO AI"
Sign reading "A.I. BE LIKE SO CRINGE". Sign alongside reads "$30B Spent on ED tech. What Will A.I. Cost?"
Probably my favorite sign at the @aimoratoriumnyc.bsky.social rally.
Hand holding up a sign reading "LaGuardia would not have been afraid to stand up to big tech!"
A pretty pointed dig at @mayor.nyc.gov at the @aimoratoriumnyc.bsky.social rally.
Sign on a stroller reads "PROTECT KIDS, NOT TECH COMPANIES." Kid's feet visible running past in the background.
Yep.

It was the tap dancing episode. 😂😂❤️
Timothy Omundson's willingness to just be a buffoon onscreen is a blessing.
(Watching Psych eps while doing stuff this morning, but itching for a Galavant rewatch soon.)
these are immensely self absorbed men who pine for nazi germany and apartheid south africa — stagnant, backwards regimes btw — because they imagine themselves the masters of the universe.
the tech fascists think they are so clever and smart but their entire worldview is just a bunch of stale apologetics for race hatred and fascism

Happy 80th birthday to Tim Curry who has always, *always* understood the assignment.
Greatest episode of Psych. He and Gina Gershon cannot be topped.
I’m so fucking tired of having to do damage control with what I interface with.
Running around having to opt out of services I used to use because of this nonsense is one of many reasons I'm exhausted and angry with the tech companies.
Your lips to God's ears.
