In my defense, we went for the smoke meat, which was delicious. I just... Assumed the cheese would be fresh- we have plenty of squeaky cheese in Ottawa so what the hell Montréal?

I'm not used to debating on here so I'm sorry if things are rambling. My biggest issue with Montréal is when I took American friends there last month the cheese at Smoke Meat Pete's didn't squeak! I think Canada as a whole though needs to listen more and that includes Québec

As I said, I've followed you on Twitter for a while so I'm pretty sure I've seen you call out the bullshit going on down south where racists claim victimhood and persecution. Québec's Bill 21 or Singh being told to remove his turban in Montréal is usually defended as 'Québec bashing'

It's long been the case though that Québec's political leaders appear to target minorities to encourage criticism from the ROC so they can argue Canada is 'overstepping'. Here in Ottawa we may know the Bloc is voted in to look out for Québec federally and not separation but the ROC doesn't.
