We don't explain the whole K-shaped economy thing well enough. I used to look at ratings on 3p marketplace products on Amazon. They would have an aggregate of 3/5 stars suggesting "OK", but the histogram would show half were 1/5 and half were 5/5, vastly different experiences.

There's no rule that says you have to be born there to run a grass roots campaign. If she's getting a bunch of support from that community and not relying on large org donations, then it's grass roots.

If you have evidence that she's not supported by that community, that's a different argument.

I'm not suggesting any 4-d chess going on here, or that incompetence doesn't still play a role at some level, but I often find what we perceived to be incompetence is actually someone working towards different goals than we assume.
