Title track is stone-cold, but this is an altogether superb and bluesy Shepp blow-out. Jeanne Lee is incredible 🔥
That looks an impressive sleeve! Yes, wholeheartedly recommend. The Arkestra put a different spin on a couple of Ragab tracks (quite 'in', but with quirky touches). The 2nd side is the Cairo Jazz band. On the whole, some great eastern-tinged jazz with psychedelic touches.
Wow, very cool! Could be. This one was released in 1983, I think. They also released three live in Egypt records in the early '70s.
