my good friend went to see doctor because of huge anounts of vaginal bleeding. no tests, no nothong. doctor was worried about her overweight and diabetes. turns out it was ovarian cancer. 🤦

My sis had surgery with no history of drug abuse was given oxytocin for only few days after surgery and told to take over the counter pain meds. A male relative with exact same surgery and history of abuse, is still on oxytocin months after the surgery. So he won’t be in pain during PT.

This is a well-documented pattern in medical research and reflects systemic gender bias in pain assessment and treatment.👇
