Devastated to see what’s happening at a place that I loved because it was the writing home of so many people I loved. what a gutting week
I’ll believe it once the whole season has passed
I filled 10 spots. Pedroia and Wright are very close, I agree. I’m hoping spots open up in 2027 to give Wright a closer look.
Other than homers, the gap between Delgado and Adrian Gonzalez is not as big as you’d think it is.
One point on voting for 10: Look at any random ballot from before ~2018 or so, and you’d be hard-pressed to find one with fewer than 10 eventual Hall inductees on it, even if they didn’t all get in the same year.

Hall of Fame ballot: Abreu, Beltran, Buehrle, Hamels, Hernandez, Jones, Pedroia, Pettitte, Rodriguez, Utley.

Alex.
Thinking about this took me to the RF JAWS board, and I did not expect this:
It’s telling that the Devers camp drops this detail *now*, despite weeks of opportunity to set the record straight, since now there’s zero chance of Devers being held to it.
Is that a 2 liter bottle?
Amazing news — congratulations!
