Medium Ævum Essay Prize | Medium Ævum The Society for the Study of Medieval Languages and Literature has awarded the Medium Ævum Essay Prize since 2008. The competition is run annually, with postgraduates and those recently graduated with...

The Society received an outstanding range of essays, and the the standard of submissions was extremely high.

The Medium Ævum Essay Prize 2027 will open to entries at the beginning of next academic year (Autumn 2026) with a deadline of 12:00 midday (GMT) on Tuesday 1st December 2026.
