Fuzzy, dessicated banana in a backpack pocket.
Just found this really old, moldy banana in my backpack. Really need to clean this thing out more often.

While you're walking around enjoying the beautiful weather in Old Town this Saturday, take a short detour off King to check out local authors with northernvirginiawriters.org at @alexlibraryva.bsky.social
Earlier today my husband was cold in the basement so he put on a leather helmet and flight goggles. When I saw him he looked at me like he expected me to comment, but it honestly would have been more notable if he wasn't wearing something weird.
Stained glass window of a red fox, cardinal, and yellow butterfly in a field of thistles.
I don't have enough hobbies, so I took up stained glass this fall. This is my first finished piece which will one day go above the door in my shed. Now to take up shed building...
Aaaah, eat my YouTube shorts youtube.com/shorts/iMk0I...
Has nothing to do with the chicken in a biskit and spray cheese.
Didn't we decide it's actually a fox?
Large pink fleece ball Kirby costume.
Way too much effort went into this...
A white fabric football shape with black oval eyes and a circular mouth vomiting a sleeve of red fabric.
So many clever ideas out there. Still working on Oxford's costume...
The knit hair is genius.
Ooh! I could make some kind of suspender! That would solve both problems!

A lovely collection of local authors at the Fredericksburg Convention center today for the Fall Arts and Crafts show!
My husband with his head stuck in a vicious looking mimic chest.
I warned him one day this would happen.
I live here and I didn't even know about this!
A photo of the retro raygun awarded to the winner of the Self-Published Science Fiction Competition alongside a plague that notes the winner of SPSFC 4 as Saint Elspeth by Wick Welker. Next to the trophy is Welker's book, which has a cover of a hovering ovoid spacecraft above San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge. The sky is orange and full of portent.
With the fifth Self-Published Science Fiction Competition (SPSFC) taking book entries next month, we're looking for a few good volunteers to join us as judges:

Mushroom mini grow kit with mushrooms growing out of the box.
I'm terrible with plants, but I think even I could make this one work.
3D drawing of framed interlaced cubes with shading
One of my Kickstarter reward levels included a custom hidden doodle inside the book box by my cover artist/husband @seanmcbeth.com
I thought he'd just draw a stick figure and be done with it, but this is the first one he did.
It's been a long time coming!

First drinks of a child free weekend in my old stomping grounds of Philly.
Well I would normally be working from home on a snow day to promote that continuity of operations thing. But since they took away my permission to telework... Guess I'm sledding with the kids today!
Last 12 hours to check this out and get some awesome books!
Instruction manual that says "with the help of a friend or trustworthy for, such as one of your in-laws"
This is one of the best things I've ever seen in a manual. And I had one once tell me to read the instructions carefully because they cared about me and didn't want me to die.
