I do attribute my "willingness" to embrace the CS geekiness in my life to him, but never did get a chance to tell him that.

He was my math teacher at Huron and why I started programming in 11th grade. I often have to explain to my current students that, at the time, it was not common to have any exposure to computing, much less exposure in HS.
