one thing about my condition progressing (treatable eye issue i can’t afford treatment for) is that sometimes my eyes just give up and then i can’t see shit for the rest of the day lol. i just have a bunch of floaters everywhere and i can no longer see words or images right.

i think it's worse! i think they didn't think of it, like didnt occur to them! which in my opinion is WORSE because they skipped the fundamental thing they are supposed to help me with.....................................

but also lidocaine patches are topical and super common, it shouldn't have been mentioned AFTER opioids LOL

yeah it's been like pulling teeth in my experience because i don't have like, a bulging disc or something they can point to in a scan to show im in pain so a lot of them think im lying lol

like i found out i had a lyme positive test because my friend's mom happens to be a nurse and then a random GI doctor (whose job is NOT to ask about this) glanced at my chart and happened to notice i never got treatment a year prior... something has to be wrong in this shit

i genuinely think i'm going to file a complaint with the hospital because this is like the third time multiple fucking doctors have missed something extremely basic in my treatment that was noticed by a random healthcare person in my life who isn't even treating me

i would understand if i never saw anyone in pain management but they DRUG TESTED ME and made me sign a waiver in case they prescribed me opioids because i was crying in pain and you are telling me NOBODY FUCKING THOUGHT OF LIDOCAINE SO FAR?????????? fuck me bro

but this IS treating the symptoms hahaha this is just a pain patch with lidocaine to relax the muscles :( it's genuinely so basic

i apologize for the crashout but i am at a point that i don't know. i have GOOD insurance, it's literally the only good thing i have because i got lucky. i see what are supposed to be good doctors. i have spent SO MUCH MONEY on my healthcare and they can't do the most basic part of their jobs?

i mention EVERY FUCKING VISIT that hot water bag + patches is the only thing that has helped me a significant amount without horrible side effects and NONE OF THESE FUCKING DOCTORS THOUGHT TO MENTION THIS BASIC FUCKING THING? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING MEEEEEEEE
