No, the pro-Madonna take is that she was a good singer and people love a good dancing song and she made tons of those

We're not a rich country. We're a country with a lot of rich people in it. A rich country would work to the benefit of all its citizens.

Huh. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a charging call in the playoffs before.

What are these refs doing here? This is wild on both sides and these are not the teams or fan bases that I would wanna piss off

I think those were the first NHL branded commercials I’ve actually enjoyed in years. Sometimes certain players will have good ones, but it’s rare to find good league ones. I hope they continue them, or at least use the same agency for next years new commercials

It’s only been a day and a half and I’m already tired of that commercial and the ESPN “it’s the Stanley cup playoffs” commercial. Can we bring back the Golden Age commercials from the regular season maybe? Or the playoff one from last year?(not lay it on the line though)

If I see one more Rick Jackson for GA governor I will do something drastic. Like, bitch, get off my screen before I say something I’ll regret.

1 Down, 15 to go.

The 2nd Line was an absolute monster today. Sens had no answer for Hall, Stankoven, and Blake.

See y'all Monday :)

I fucking love this team. I know I’ve said some not nice things about Freddie, but I take (most) of them back after that.

Canes + NCAA Four on the Floor + new yarn = happiness. The only thing that would make this better is if the Hawks win tonight

According to @naturalstattrick.com, shot attempts were 27-11 for Carolina.

Stankoven line was very good, but I think Svechnikov was the best player on the ice in the opening 20.

!? I can't afford to make a big donation, and/or my school is never going to catch Michigan. Should I even bother competing? If there's anybody who understands this, it's a bunch of journalists and nonprofit volunteers. But! We say this every year, and it keeps on being true: The VAST majority of donations we receive every year are in the $20 range. $10 is welcome. $5 is welcome. It all helps.
!? So how does Michigan keep winning?
The schools at the top of the leaderboard all tend to have one or two big-money donors bumping them up the ranks, but even at Michigan, the $20 donors outstrip everybody else by volume. The Wolverines keep winning because they have HORDES of donors. Wanna topple them this year? Do what they do: Get your friends involved.

And if I could highlight one key to the game, every year it would be this right here. Michigan keeps winning because they have more players. If you want to compete with them, go do some crootin’

pssst. Bowl starts Monday morning. You know you’re not doing anything at work right now. Might as well get those corporate matching gifts lined up, if we don’t have verification from your employer by next Friday we can’t add it to the scoreboard

The canes got a lot of votes for worst org to deal with from agents, so I wonder if this vote, was because things might be a little smoother and less of a pain for agents if everything didn’t have to go through a dirt cheap owner, but the worst run org is quite a stretch, especially with our FO
