57% LACKED FULL CONSENT. The European healthcare system is failing the intersex community on the most basic principle: bodily autonomy. #ACTIVEAID trains healthcare professionals to make informed consent the standard, not the exception. Ethics are non-negotiable.
The high cost of exclusion: 53% of intersex people contemplated suicide (FRA). The mental health crisis is a direct result of systems that pathologize and discriminate. #ACTIVEAID is fighting in 5 EU countries to make healthcare a protective factor, not a risk. Health justice now!
