He gets along famously with some of the other younger, rambunctious dogs too! They run and play just fine. But there are three that just will not leave him alone that ruin the whole experience.

Literally. I watched an old dude tackle his dog to try to get him away from Ares after his dog full on bit mine on the leg. Like dude? You should be the one leaving, not us.

There are two old dudes who have dogs that won't leave Ares alone, so we won't be back.

Somebody got bullied at the dog park bad enough we probably won't be back.

A friend of mine lent me his tablet for the weekend, and I was able to work on the most urgent commissions. Before they came to pick it up, I managed to add color to this sketch.

We said we would give him a soft place to land for his final years, and we are. He's getting spoiled and loved on. We're treating him like the king he is. Sometimes with rescuing animals, all you can do is give them love and dignity near the end. That's what we're going to keep doing.

We have some bad news. Tony has not been doing well. The vet thinks he has one of three types of cancer or kitty IBS. We're treating him as if he has IBS for a few weeks to see if there are any improvements, but if not, we will have some hard discussions ahead.
