Made my way to the infectious disease doctor yesterday for my follow up. He says that I am -- on paper -- no longer ~infectious. I'm now on a 3 month observation / preventative antibiotic and am cleared to fully resume normal activity (though I still want to get a new x-ray to confirm bone is good).

I don't know why I didn't even think to consider eBay! My dad had a 100-disc one when I was a kid. I was literally OBSESSED. I've wanted my own ever since, but never thought to get one (or had the disposable income, really) to start actually building out a music space worth anything until recently.

Does anyone else remember the CD players / sound systems that would hold 100+ CDs and just run through them? Do you know where you can find one these days? Or a jukebox-style machine that plays / holds CDs, not just Bluetooth / streaming?

Yeahhhh. Back when I was working in a Banana Republic, I bought a looooot of really nice clothes that I've just held onto since then (speaks a lot to the quality, really), but these days, I spend most of my day in sweats and a band t-shirt, so...

When I move, I'm getting a 2 bedroom unit so I can use the second room as a personal library / office, despite having a "den" area that would work perfectly fine as an office. So uh, yeah. I feel you there lol.

Also, this is misleading -- I haven't moved YET. I'm just gearing up to do so in the next few months. Waiting for a first floor unit to open up in the floorplan I want, but, I already know where I'm going. Just have the opportunity to be picky with which unit.

(Also potentially TMI sidenote -- I've been on and off antibiotics since DECEMBER. My gut biome is a fucking warzone at this point. I'm considering just switching to a broth-only diet and prayer.)

I do. But, I also do minor edits as I read through, too. Nothing major, just little things that I catch while I'm reading. So two big "don't do this!!" things that I do all the time.

Until the end of March (or all year 😉), I encourage you to read at least one book written by and/or featuring trans, nonbinary, 2Spirit, and gender-nonconforming authors and characters. Your support means *everything* right now.
