Also one of my favourite parts of research is spending hours reading... it makes me both a better writer and greatly improves my subject matter knowledge. I would never want to outsource the reading process.

As someone who has done research on birth control misinformation and heard how Casey Means has discussed birth control in the past, this absolutely does not surprise me

Ensures that all the diseases covered by the previous immunization schedule will still be available to anyone who wants them through Affordable Care Act insurance plans and federal insurance programs, including Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and the Vaccines for Children program. Families will not have to purchase them out of pocket. Among peer nations, the U.S. will continue to offer the most childhood vaccines for free to those who want them.

It's such an unscientific statement to be sent by an exec at FDA. If I wrote "unlikely/probable/possible" in a paper in graduate school I would get a bad grade... no scientific rigor whatsoever.

Jane Goodall Thinks It’s Not Too Late to Save the World The world, the famed primatologist says, isn’t what it used to be—but there’s still time to save it, if we treat crises like climate change, biodiversity loss, and poverty as one.

Jane Goodall understood better than most the impact humans have had on the planet. Having witnessed so much environmental deterioration during her lifetime, she was as much an activist as a scientist.

Read our piece from 2024 on the legendary primatologist. 💚

The hardest part of making sourdough (in my humble opinion) is knowing when the bulk fermentation is done, it requires knowing what the dough should look like, understanding the dough ratios and the environment (temp, humidity etc.). You can get real nerdy with this stage of sourdough making.
