Freddie Mercury.
Good grief. He was so special. So incredibly precious. So insanely talented.
What a joy.

Really enjoyed #ACompleteUnknown the biopic of Bob Dylan and particularly the #NewStatesman podcast on the protest song - so well done by Dylan through the civil rights movement. In an age of change, so surprised there’s not been more protest songs.

Everyone should watch this and hear Oliver’s story.
Listening to lived experiences of people with learning disabilities and autistic people, as part of the #OliverMcGowanTraining and I’m heartbroken and inspired at the same time. Gosh we need to do better. Not just in the NHS but as humanity. #LearningDisabilities #LivedExperience
We’ve been getting creative developing a #LoveActually skit for Tik Tok. A new way to get our Pharmacy First message across as hospitals get busy and Christmas approaches. This is behind the scenes with my brilliant team. #BLMKWinterActually
I was born in the early 50's before the polio vaccine had been invented. I contracted actual polio and spent months in an isolation ward with no physical contact with family. Fortunately I was lucky and emerged largely unscathed. Many did not. It's a real danger, don't allow it to come back.

On Friday we said goodbye to our Chair, Dr Rima Makarem who has led our organisation since 2020. She’s been such a huge advocate for us especially for the #DennyReview. We wish her all the best in her new role in Somerset. @blmkhealthcare.bsky.social
"Making walking and cycling more practical and safer would go a long way toward removing barriers to improving physical activity levels and could significantly improve the health of England’s increasingly urban population."

Today, we had the pleasure of sharing valuable information with ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) students at MK College about local health services. We discussed how to stay well this winter and make smart choices about the services available to them. #BLMKwinter
Finished making the sash for the Scouts Christmas Tree Festival, but no mum credits. The elves helped…

A huge shoutout to Community Action MK and Bedford Foodbank for inviting us to join their events last week! It was fantastic to chat with residents visiting the #RamgarhiaSabha and #FoodBank about local healthcare, staying well this winter, and making smart choices about services.
A great festive networking lunch with Bedford Borough Healthwatch today. Always good to meet residents and partners to listen to local views. Food was delicious too.
Never forget that in 1861 Charles Darwin wrote in a letter to a friend..
“But I am very poorly today and very stupid and hate everybody and everything"
...because this is my favorite reminder that we can do great things even if we don't always have great days

It was a great event. The start of new policies for a zero carbon service.
If, like me you are fascinated by behaviour change, especially in relation to health, you might want to follow these people.
I volunteered to make a sash with badges for this year’s ChristmasTree Festival with the #Scouts. Confession… I can’t sew, but I sometimes have great and grand ideas. I might be here all night. Wish me luck.
