If corporations paid their fair share of taxes we could have things like better Healthcare, post offices etc.

$40 per Canadian per year, or $3 per month, to support a communication method that can function after the internet is destroyed by AI. Surely we want to spend thrice that.

Hope your surgery goes smoothly and well. My husband has had a wrinkle in his retina but so far its doing ok, but someday it may require surgery.

Speaking as a mother to a grown disabled child who spent her school years in Alberta, and Ontario who had at the time excellent education, all I can say is that woman is pure malice and disgusting as well.

This is evil. Sorry but it is. Imagine thinking a nonverbal CHILD with intellectual disabilities can unearn their right to equal access to public education. These are the most vulnerable already stereotyped as “aggressive” “complex”. Inclusion is a human right.

Sadly I do think @mark-carney.bsky.social is more beholden to corporations than the Canadian people.

Canada's Connections to Palantir's "Panopticon" International employment sites list at least 40 Canadian government departments and private companies looking for computer software technicians who understand Palantir's applications.

This is pretty easily searchable too. They've been in Canada since 2017. And Canadians on here are doing. Nothing. About it.

Mark Carney supports this.

A striped cat appears to be “yelling” at a kitten with the exact same coloring. The kitten’s eyes are wide open and their ears pinned back.

Corb Lund: Facts dispute industry claims on coal mining Opinion:

"We are being asked to accept permanent environmental damage, long‑term public liability and water risks that can't be engineered away, all to support an industry in structural decline that contributes little in royalties and is largely owned by foreign investors."You tell 'em,@corblund.bsky.social.

Yes. In BC, the @bcndpcaucus.bsky.social & @davidebybc.bsky.social allow LifeLabs ownership by an American company, through a loophole of Canadian incorporation to get around that. It's wrong.

Gotta end this at the FEDERAL LEVEL, @wgreaves.bsky.social. Want transfer funds? No US-owned services.

Reminder that Alligator Alcatraz is a money maker for Canadian company GardaWorld. There should be a ban on Canadian companies profiting from American fascism, but Carney won't do that.

My hand holds four oak leaf shaped pouches made of cork fabric. They all have brown straps, decorative metal buttons, and faux suede cord tied around the strap and button. Left to right the colors are Nebula, Red/ Orange, Galaxy, and Green/ Yellow. The background is leaves and vertical tree branches. Zippers are on the backs of the pouches. This size is good for holding keys, money, earplugs, and other small trinkets. Hang them on a belt or bag to expand your pocket space!

Four hand painted oak leaf zipper pouches I finished today. I took these with me for some photos when I went out for milk tea and to take a little walk.

These companies are at best profiteers, at worst traitorous collaborators who would sell our entire country out for a dime.

I wish nothing but adversity for every person involved with these companies. Get the fuck out of our country.
