2) Found the old rubber pride flag I thought I had lost, and hung it behind the suspension rig. I actually really love the dirty, tattered look; gives it a gritty vibe.

When I started making kink accounts I went by “publictransitgear” to reflect my original interest in workgear/hiviz.

Was a mouthful, so as my pup identity emerged it shortened to Transit (which is also my biggest interest outside of the scene).

Some evening excitement: I found a great deal on an Alpinestars one-piece suit on eBay.

It’s just barely one size too small and not in perfect shape, but for a basic play suit I am *thrilled*!

One of the funny things about doing fieldwork in downtown Chicago is sometimes you just randomly pass by the IML hotel

Since I’m in my current place for another year, the hesitation to put yet more holes in the walls is significantly diminished.

This sign from COG is definitely a clearer marker of the dungeon than the Five Points MARTA sign 😂

Evening musings: the folks I trust the most (except for closest friends, YKWYA) fall into 3 disparate categories:
1) Kinksters/BDSMers I’ve played with at least once (often more)
2) folks I’ve worked on signs with in the field, esp in adverse conditions
3) bartender(s) at the local dive

On the one hand the fact that the kink/gear/fur community is so dispersed makes logistics complicated, on the other hand it is amazing that I could right now do a proper trip to Alaska and never stay in a hotel because of the cool folks I know.

Sunday evening accomplishment: finally got around to installing the shower douche.

I think this will be a big upgrade over the bulb, though it’s hard not to think about the fact that I’ll likely be uninstalling this in a month or two (with the intended move)

Home from a packed weekend spent pretty much exclusively with local kinksters and I’m legit crying tears of joy.

The Chicago(land) kink/gear/BDSM scene is truly special, and I am amazed and honored that I get to be part of it.
