We thought so… very occasionally we get boar, badger and other foxes in the village, but this is new. O H ( biologist ) says it’s not an albino. Last excitement was seeing a merlin.

I couldn’t believe that when I saw it. What is wrong with these people? I read many of those when in my teens; they were a rite of passage!

No, I didn’t! We had a house in France, lovely French neighbours and knew what we stood to lose. One son was in charge of Erasmus at his place of work and our other son’s department lost its EU funding. Take the beam out of your own eye and qualify your statements!

We were down to one bantam, (Ethel) and reluctantly had her adopted by a kind neighbour. I miss my girls, but we decided to give up as we’re not ‘spring chickens’ ourselves. 😔

I taught critical thinking skills to Reception children- just saying.
