i can reccomend drawing birbs!! it's really soothing and not too hard to start with.
But also photography is another hobby which doesn't involve computer and lets you be outside more, which is not necessarily a thing with drawing

"Animated Bokeh" has been on my whiteboard for a long time, and this is the result.

I thought it would just be for cheesy novelty effects, but it also does lightfield manipulation that was cooler than I expected.

The boards arrived here last week, i've been doing the rounds testing them and i'll probably write a blog post about it since it's too much for a bluesky post but the verdict is, yes they work but i fucked up the BOM for one component (not necessary for it to work but for some functions it is) 🙃

One thing I wish MCU silicon vendors would do (e.g. STM32, Nordic) is be more upfront on the "bill of material" of IP blocks they use in their chips.

Many different chips re-use the same IP blocks for UARTs, SPI, DMA, etc. Knowing when this is/isn't the case makes writing drivers WAY easier.

Restock's happening soon, with version v3 of the board!
Routing has improved, and ofc it's framework module sized as well.
Now shipping from a different location :D couldn't figure out shipping to the US unfortunately, the rates seem to be impossible.

severe anxiety is such a frustrating disorder it kind of sucks that it's still perceived as the "can't talk to the gas station cashier" illness.

PTSD and severe anxiety is such a horrible combination.
