For example: When the Rodfellows Movie has the child character interact with all the inflation fetish elements, instead of flagging to everyone how Yucky you find that (Annoying, Tiresome), why not have a laugh about it and start asking why it's written that way (Smart, Insight)?

I really think folks would do well to engage with/criticize fetish content with a greater sense of humor, rather than (usually performative) disgust. I make fun of kinks (especially my own) all the time, because most fetishes are quite silly.
