Missouri’s new Republican Gov, Mike Kehoe says he is starting out by addressing crime in Missouri. Weird.
1) he backs Trump and his pardoning of insurrectionists who beat cops with flags.
2) the Missouri GOP has been in control for 22 years. If crime is out of control, who should we blame?

Very glad I and others encouraged people to get their passports in the lead up to Trump’s inauguration.

🧵I just got off the phone with Missouri Governor Kehoe’s office. I had questions about his decision to raise the flags for 45’s inauguration in violation of Title 4, U.S. Code, Chapter 1, Section 7:
The flag shall be flown at half-staff 30 days from the death of the President or a former President.

Senator Nick Schroer has been a lawmaker in Jeff City for 10 years and here’s the problem: rather than pay DOT workers, and fund the department, he proposed a bill to legalize brass knuckles.
At least he can go online to bitch about the problems he refuses to fix.

Happening now, a transgender sports ban is being heard in Congress.
This ban might ban trans people from dancing, darts, and even chess in many universities.
It'll also target 9 year olds playing soccer.

1. Happening now, the Montana House of Reps will vote on a bill that bans trans people from bathrooms.
It is the first full house floor vote on such a bill this year.
Trans Reps Zephyr, Howell argued against its enforcability.
