Like another commenter, I thought this had already happened in ‘22.
Some incredibly good news:
One year ago this week, The Onion returned to print.
In that one year, we’ve grown to the 13th largest print newspaper in the United States, just ahead of the Boston Globe, and growing fast.
In short, it’s working.
So… thank you. Thank you for helping save this thing.
For me it used to be “Big Man”😊💈
A tire swing hangs on a summer morning. Golden sunlight spills through the trees. A beautiful day.

Awesome, Aislinn! Thanks for the repost GRMMA!
Me too.
The singularity of stupid. Are we past that horizon already?
I’m depending on the need for this push back going forwards. As a software dev trainer I always encourage delegates to reason about the code they write. Pretty soon that will be the only skill left as the actual code writes itself.
I made a typeface, it's called Flexflex 🔠
I've been working on this project on-and-off for many months. Very happy to finally release it!
Flexflex is a typeface that responds to spatial requirements rather than imposing them.

Back to the fog and phantom trees slowly emerging from the eerie atmosphere of Scottish weather.
Visually this kind of scene makes me feel like I am a stranger suddenly entering another land.
This is nothing short of heinous. It’s browser wars all over again.
My mate singer/songwriter Paul Archer has a new web site and new album out soon. He’s one to watch. 🙄🎸

I don’t think Russell, Whitehead and Wittgenstein depended on publishing. They all had independent incomes and used to hang with each other. So in that sense maybe both Principia Mathematica and Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus were amateur works?
At the start of a renovation project that is 100% renewables powered, this is encouraging, and my weeping at the prices has partially subsided..
You may know that a new popover type recently landed. But what is it exactly? And why did we need it?
I wrote a post all about it!
Learn about popover=hint, how to use it today, and how it'll be even more handy with interest invokers in the future!

I do like it here. For fewer followers, engagement is through the roof.
Neat. Can never get enough of a responsive UI.
Today in Josh’s Nonsense, I animated the little notch in my slider component so that the slider thumb doesn’t cover it up. 😄
@tweetinggoddess.bsky.social thanks for the follow back, Sam!
That’s very impressive and a great use case for the HashMap dara structure!
Awesome use of a novel tech stack to achieve a very performant and innovative tool.
