Do holds count?

Yes. He got treatment for his vertigo.
That'd be fun! I was a little surprised #Bluejays didn't sign Uncle Tay over the winter.
Glad you got to enjoy that!
As I mentioned earlier, I was surprised the bullpen was run the way it was after Cease came out. Once it got to Rogers in the 8st, it was going to be Hoffman.
Hoffman strikes out the side after a leadoff single by Jo Adell. Not a nervous ninth at all. Hope you're all doing OK.
#Bluejays win 5-2, they're 3-4 on the trip so far.
I do not understand why this is happening, but here we go.
It's Jeff Hoffman with a three-run lead in the bottom of the ninth. #Bluejays
Lukes drives in a MASSIVE extra run with a grounder off the leg of pitcher Shaun Anderson.
5-2 #Bluejays top9.
Jeff Hoffman is up in #Bluejays bullpen.
For me, it's Rogers. But I don't love the way this has developed since Cease left.
Rogers, as he tends to, gets three weak ground balls. One is booted by Andres Gimenez, but it doesn't make a difference.
#Bluejays up 4-2 to top9.
They can't possibly go Hoffman, can they? Adell, Lowe and O'Hoppe are due up in bot9. Lots and lotsa power there.
Fisher has already pitched tonight.
As I suggested, Varland comes out just to face Mike Trout and strikes him out.
I thought with Schanuel (L), Soler (R) and Moncada (switch but can't hit lefties), it would be Fluharty next, but it's Tyler Rogers.
They can't be thinking Hoffman for the 9th...
4-2 #Bluejays
Varland comes back out to at least start bot8 with #Bluejays up 4-2 and Mike Trout leading off.
Clean bot7 for Varland, who may come back out for the 8st to face Trout, then hand it over to Fluharty, then Rogers for the 9th?
I dunno, but can't imagine we see Hoffman tonight.
4-2 #Bluejays to top8.
Saw replay. #Angels didn't throw to the wrong base, but Lowe lollipopped the throw into the middle infield.
Nathan Lukes is ridiculous right now. Couldn't believe that Straw tried to score but then saw Angels threw to the wrong base. Outstanding read by Carlos Febles.
4-2 #Bluejays top7.
This was very difficut to read.
After swinging and missing at a pitch at his eyes, Lenyn Sosa drives a fly ball to Deep (enough) Left Field to cash Vladdy with the go-ahead run.
3-2 #Bluejays to bot6.
Not every inning. But the answer is because it's fun.
Dylan Cease's 110th (and presumably final) pitch of the night is a 98.9mph fastball that rings up Jorge Soler for his 12th strikeout.
They're headed to the 6st in a 2-2 tie. #Bluejays
He would have to reshape his entire prep and his game and everything, but yeah, it would be a lot of fun.
Not as valued as someone who makes 32 starts a year.
I might say that the other way around.
Only 15 pitches for Cease in a perfect bot4. He's up to 9 Ks.
#Bluejays
This will be what #Bluejays fans marvel at and tear their hair out about Dylan Cease for the next seven years.
He's got seven strikeouts through three innings, but he's also thrown 73 pitches.
He got close to 30 in bot3, requiring #Jays bullpen to start moving.
Par for the Cease.
#Angels tie it up on a sac fly in bot3. They manufactured the crap out of that run. All comes back to the leadoff walk.
As they go to bot3 in Anaheim with #Bluejays up 2-1, there have already been six ABS challenges in this game. Each team has been wrong once, including Okamoto on a called strike three to end top3, so each team has one left.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr., playing where his dad was a star, murdalizes a Reid Detmers change-up for his second home run of the season.
#Bluejays up 2-1.
