I admire him TOO

Absolutely insane that my life has become texting with local church pastors to try and find a safe place to hold an emergency meeting for parents at my kid’s’ preschool to figure out how to respond to the federal government kidnapping neighbors.
Just so I have this right, in the first 10 days of 2026, the “anti-war” president has invaded Venezuela and Minneapolis.
Frey: "An individual from a car that was in the middle of a street was detained. ICE left the car in the middle of the street. The car wasn't even in park, so you got it just rolling down the street w/nobody in it. It could've hit anybody, including my own family. This is not about safety"
Frey: "This notion of inflammatory comments -- c'mon guys. I dropped an F bomb, they killed someone. Which one of those is more inflammatory? I'm going with the killing somebody."
Bravo

The war in Ukraine will be over in 24 hours.
So will Gaza.
There will be 90 trade deals in 90 days.
No tax on tips.
No tax on overtime.
Interest on car loans will be tax deductible.
No tax on Social Security.
He will balance the budget.
Tariffs will pay for everything.
Hey @brettchapman.bsky.social I saw this at the Post Office and started talking to the guy behind the counter about it. Got to talk a little Ponca history. Dude was so happy to hear it that he gave me their extra magnet. Every day is a good day to talk Native history.
The only thing that’s going to get you fired from a Trump 2.0 cabinet is disloyalty to Trump. No act of incompetence, mismanagement, criminality, or malfeasance can get you fired. As long as you are loyal to Trump, you can pretty much do anything.
A tweet by Jesse Rodriguez ( @jesseR ) shows a Wall Street Journal headline: "Dow Headed for Worst April Since Great Depression." The subheading reads, "Few think the administration’s negotiations with trade partners will yield results soon enough to ease the strain." A chart titled "Performance since April 2 'Liberation Day'" compares Gold futures (up ~7%), WSJ Dollar Index (down ~2%), and S&P 500 (down ~10%). Market indicators show DJIA down 2.48%, S&P 500 down 2.36%, NASDAQ down 2.55%, and Russell 2000 down significantly.
Markets require sure and steady leadership. Not a clown show.
KEEP UP THE
GREAT WORK!
A screenshot of a Reuters article stating that the US FDA suspended milk quality test workforce cuts.
Previous to the FDA, folks would put chalk and plaster of Paris in milk to make it appear white. They could also add formaldehyde to cover the smell and taste of spoiled milk.

Stained glass art of Bishop Budde
“Make good trouble.”
~ John Lewis
While I’ve gratefully watched Bishop Budde's act of bravery remind us of the power of a single voice, my greatest fear is that she will be the only one of her kind; that in a few days she will prove to be an outlier, just a beautiful aberration.

Ukraine has captured a couple of the N. Korean soldiers Putin has brought in since Russians are incapable of defeating a much smaller country on their own. Zelensky explains why it is rare to get a N. Korean POW.
If the Matt Gaetz report exonerated him, it would have already been public.
