A kinder day in shrimptown. Was able to confirm the remaining 7 shimps are all fine :) the eggs I saved from the dead mama still look healthy too, so I hope a few make it!

Sigh, tonight I found one of the pregnant moms dead and covered in like seven planaria 🫠 no idea if they killed her or were just taking advantage of free food, but she was swimming around fine earlier today

Found 1 little guy dead this morning (a couple losses due to switching tanks is considered normal) but there are definitely still at least 7 doing well! (The most I’ve seen out of hiding at once lol, so just one unaccounted for)

Big day! My tank finally finished cycling a few days ago, so I drove over to a local breeder to pick up my first babies. They’re orange rilis :) getting drip acclimated for a few hours as we speak and then they can go into the tank!
