Currently, 0% of my goal atm, so any sales would be greatly appreciated ๐
Money raised will be going towards editing, layout, and art commissions for upcoming work such as LifeBlood, the Cakeish Corner update, and one other solo journalling game that's still in its infancy โจ๏ธ

I'm making one last push to let people know about this online talk -- sponsored by the British Library in conjunction with their current exhibition on fairy tales. The live stream starts at 7:30 tonight, but if you buy a ticket *before* the event you can watch it any time over the next 7 days.

Speaking of good podcasts, it's a shame to say goodbye to one of my favourite gaming podcasts, but glad to see it'll be getting a finale. If you're at all interested in how to present adventures, either as a writer or as a GM, this show's back catalogue is so valuable.

The cyberattack on The British Library in October 2023 knocked out ebooks and almost ever other computer thing there for years.
Ebooks just came back. They were knocked out everywhere using the BLโs license (legal deposit libraries I think? More libraries?)
Distributed physical copies matter.

"In the place of problem-solving technology, companies have jumped on successive bandwagons like NFTs, the metaverse, and large language models. What these all have in common is that they are not built to really solve a market problem. They are built to make VCs and companies rich"

The issue with many "cozy" games is they're so vibes-focused, they lose sight of the CONTENT of the media they're emulating. Yes, "The Wind in the Willows" involves sitting around drinking tea, but it also includes such heartwarming episodes as "Mr. Toad steals a car" and "Rat and Mole meet God".

Afraid so. I've picked a place between Euston and St Pancras to give folks a half a chance of getting there, but it is still London. Sorry!

An island chain with Very French Names.
Six of Marsh's fabulously and sinister character illustrations for GOLD TEETH. Eighteenth century hats and wigs abound.
Six non-player characters designed by Marsh Davies, each set within a picture frame reflecting their demeanour. Meet them on the high seas, and in low places in GOLD TEETH.
A port on an island where things are not going smoothly for the powers that be.
Hey, so we recently posted these extremely fine maps and character designs by @marshdavies.bsky.social in an update for our GOLD TEETH backers.
Might as well do the same here, because you can still pre-order: www.kickstarter.com/projects/149... Our pirate RPG book should absolutely not be missed!

Ahhh I see. As a consultant I suppose it's often my job to show up and say 'Well, this sucks, doesn't it?' out loud when the regular staff can't.
