We used to be obligated to visit my in-laws, who retired to Florida, once a year. I was never so glad to see Florida in my rear view mirror for the last time when they moved to New Jersey. We never have to go to Florida again! Sadly, under Trump, we don’t feel safe going to NJ now either.😢
I like finding a word or expression that captures a feeling, sound or state of being. For example, the calming sound of wind blowing through trees and rustling their leaves is known as psithurism (pronounced sith-err-iz-um). I have yet to use it in a sentence though😊🌳💨🍃🕊️
