Now that Melfest is over, Eurovision season is over for me too. Hopefully will be able to come back for the 2027 season but for now it just feels wrong given Israel are currently illegally bombing multiple countries and displacing millions

Yeah I think you’re right and it’s stupid now because losing five countries and not being able to sell tickets for that disastrous tour suggests it’s not even lining their pockets anymore

The negative reaction to everything Eurovision related this year kind of warms my heart. I really hope the EBU takes note of how damaged the brand is - but I fear it’s too late to course correct

I think with the state of the fandom and the lack of effort from most countries tho plus what the contest now represents if you were in it it would feel quite empty! At least that’s what I’m telling myself 😂
