Incredible work from Heather, Firas, the Britton lab, and colleagues on how the infant microbiome shapes cognitive function. Plus a demonstration that cognition can be rescued with microbiome therapy. This is a must read work.

Do you want somebody to blame? Start with Russell Vought at OMB, Jay Bhattacharya, Matthew Memoli, Jon Lorsch at NIH. These are evil, small minded men. I hope one day they’re held accountable for the destruction of biomedical research in the United States.

Great talk at CABM today by Jim Wells of UCSF on methods to determine the interactome and surfaceome surrounding hormone-receptor binding. I also look forward to using the term “bespoke biology” for non-omics discoveries. 😁
